ned alot about myself. I have been reminded to slow down and listen to my body. Also, to accept my curves and limitations. Here are five essential tips to help you prepare for your first class, ensuring you feel comfortable and ready to embrace the art of pole dancing.

What you wear can significantly impact your comfort and performance. You feel good if you look good! Opt for form-fitting, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Many pole dancers prefer shorts and a fitted top, as this exposes the skin for better grip on the pole. If you're feeling adventurous, consider a cute pair of heels to boost your confidence, but remember to practice in bare feet or grip socks if you’re more comfortable. I didnt buy my first pair of shoes until year Two.

Before your first class, take some time to boost your self-esteem. Engage in positive affirmations, visualize what successlooks like to you, and remind yourself of the reasons you chose to try pole dancing.
